A school district in Texas is seeking a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to support students with a range of visual impairments. This position offers flexibility for qualified onsite candidates and a manageable caseload.
Position Highlights :
Serve a caseload of no more than 20 students
Support students with varying levels of visual impairment
Provide direct instruction and consultative services aligned with student needs
Participate in ARD meetings , contributing to goal development and service planning
Collaborate with families, educators, and related service providers
Schedule & Flexibility :
Full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week
Part-time hours may be considered for qualified candidates
Onsite presence required
Qualifications :
Valid Texas certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired
Experience working with students with visual impairments preferred
Strong collaboration and communication skills
