Public Relations Managers are usually the head of a PR firm or of a company's PR department. They are charged with all the different aspects of creating and maintaining their client's public image, coordinating all the teams working to promote the image their client wants the public to perceive. 
  
PR Managers create and maintain relationships with the media, handle crises, and promote their company or client through positive publicity. They typically work in-house for a company or organization but may also be employed by a PR agency representing multiple clients. Their work environment is usually office-based during regular business hours. However, they may also be required to work evenings and weekends to attend events or meet deadlines.   
  
PR Managers need to be able to deal with a lot of different personalities and build relationships with people from all walks of life. They must also be adept at handling difficult situations and people, as they need to be able to represent their company in a positive light, no matter what.  

Personality of a Public Relations Manager 
PR Managers have a few common personality traits that help them succeed in their job. Here are a few of them:

They are also very organized and have a clear vision for what they want to achieve. PR Managers are also very creative and have a strong understanding of the media landscape. This allows them to come up with innovative ways to get their message across to the public.

Finally, PR Managers are resilient. They can adapt and cope in fast-paced, high-pressure environments and quickly bounce back from managing difficult situations and people. They are also thick-skinned and can handle rejection. All of these qualities make them excellent at their jobs.
