St. John's Residence for Boys has been providing support / services to some of NYC most vulnerable for many years. We need a well-versed, experienced psychologist to join our team as a consultant, independent contractor.

This role is critical to the medical / mental health of the resident youth served. Join a team that is committed to providing services designed to place our residents on the path to success.

This role will provides the ability to work a flexible schedule to include remote as appropriate, typically 25-28 hours per week / as needed to ensure the needs of both the resident youth and licensed Consultant.

The psychologist is not an employee of the agency but rather contracted under 1099 status.

Education Requirements : Minimum BA Degree in Psychology from an accredited school; Licensed / Registered Psychologist of NYS with a minimum of one year of certified practice.

Experience with troubled youth a plus, must model trauma informed care practices.

We are seeking a licensed Psychologist to provide services to resident youth. Services to include assessments, testing, referrals and counseling to our residents / family members as deemed appropriate.

Collaboration with the consultant psychiatrist, medical department and support staff is pertinent for ensuring proper measures are put in place in effort to achieve successful adjustment and permanency for residents and family.

The Psychologist is critical to the success of our residents and is highly regarded.
