Our store leaders are the front line of our field leadership team : they're retail and customer-savvy, dedicated brand ambassadors, and thrive on the connections we make with our customers. Responsibilities include : attracting, hiring, developing, inspiring, and retaining top talent including the store leadership team; setting and reinforcing clear and concise performance expectations, results goals, and accountability with all associates through effective and fair leadership; owning and delegating leadership tasks to address customer experience, vendor relationship, or maintenance issues; partnering with the store leadership team to support action plans that improve results and ensure effective execution of operational activities; implementing and sustaining floorset direction to optimize the business and bring the product story to life; performing opening and closing routines including execution of bank deposits, receipt of shipment, and interpret / disseminate company directives; setting the direction and goals for the day / shift when associates arrive for work; providing individual and team performance feedback; meeting payroll targets by ensuring appropriate sales floor coverage and maintaining a selling focus; leading exceptional in-store customer experiences through demonstrating and modeling selling behaviors rooted in our values and elevated product knowledge; creating genuine connections with customers through uncovering needs, sharing product information, demoing products, and making personalized recommendations; training, coaching, rewarding, and motivating associates to improve selling and the customer experience; reinforcing selling expectations, performance, results, and accountability with all associates; and consistently providing the most safe, clean, and engaging experience by adhering to all safety standards and expectations.

Qualifications include : proven experience delivering sales, exceptional customer experience, and operational results in a fast-paced environment; 2+ years of experience in a manager role, preferably in a retail setting; thriving in a customer-first based retail environment; ability to foster a customer-focused selling culture; passion for attracting, developing, and retaining top talent; effective communication skills, being open to feedback, and the ability to adapt quickly; ability to provide in-the-moment coaching to associates; ability to de-escalate store and customer situations effectively; and must be available to work peak days and times, including varied shifts of evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Education requirements include a high school diploma, GED certificate, or relevant work experience.
