Job descriptionPrepares audit report findings, outlines discrepancies, and recommends corrective action Research assets and locate corresponding purchase invoices using Oracle Maintain tax records and information used in tax audits; Reconcile tax returns to payments and payments to GL. Gather information requested in audits. ssist with special projects and company initiatives. Resolve tax issues for internal and external clients. Execute on strategic initiative and have a strong ability to analyze data Support exemption certificate requests for purchases made by Cox and affiliates. Research tax issues using various tools such as CCH, RIA, etc. Collaborate with team members to proactively drive change including identifying and implementing ideas for process improvement / value-added opportunities. Monitor changes in regulations and other aspects of tax policy. Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (CPA / CMI Preferred but not required). 3-5 years of S&U tax experience Telecommunication and / or Software as a Service experience is a strong plus bility to establish working relationships with key internal and external customers. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Deadline driven with highest possible accuracy. bility to prioritize and manage time efficiently. bility to process large amounts of data in Excel. Familiar with software applications (Oracle, CCH, SQL, SharePoint) bility to perform actions and make decisions with integrity and sound judgment.

Required to be onsite - Tuesdays & Thursdays weekly
Job Description :
- Responsible for audit support (sales / use tax and regulatory fees).
- Responsible for running reports and reconciling transaction data to sales and use tax returns; investigate and analyze audit workpapers.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries related to exemption certificates, sales tax research, and special projects.
