As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Full-Time in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within financial institution locations. You will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter potential security-related incidents, and interact with staff and visitors to provide superior customer service. Position Type : Full Time Pay Rate : $24.00 / Hour Job Schedule : Day Time Tue 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM Wed 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM Thur 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM Fri 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM Sat 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM What You'll Do : Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities : Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment within the financial institution. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for suspicious behavior or security-related concerns. Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities discovered during patrols or while on post. Collaborate with law enforcement and other emergency responders when required in accordance with established protocols. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents and foster a welcoming atmosphere for clients and staff at the financial institution. Adhere to all Allied Universal policies, training standards, and client-specific requirements while performing assigned duties. What We're Looking For : Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements : Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or possess an equivalent qualification. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
