Sr. Systems Engineer - PTO, Paid Holidays & Paid Leave

Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to Perform Software Systems Engineering for the development and sustainment phases of a project relative to mission planning software supporting aircraft and weapons systems. This position is located full-time on-site. (No Remote / Hybrid)

Travel : Some travel may be required Clearance :

An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.

Requirements :

• At least ten (10) years of experience in Systems Engineering supporting DoD aircraft systems, DoD weapons systems, DoD mission systems or DoD support systems, consisting of the design, development, integration and system testing of computer hardware and software
• Ability to decompose requirements into technical system and software requirements
• Strong communication (written / oral) and presentations skills and strong critical thinking and reasoning skills

Responsibilities :

Evaluate the ability of new capabilities, updated hardware, and updated software to meet system and mission performance requirements.

Develop, review, and comment on H-60 software requirements during the development and sustainment phases of a project based upon information provided by the program office. Tasks will include developing trade-off studies, engineering approach analyses, system implementation analyses, and performing research to provide recommendations.

Make recommendations about human systems engineering.

Preferred Skills and Experience :

Education : BS or BA degree in a Technical Discipline. Compensation :

Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.

The projected annual compensation range for this position is $115,000.00 - $175,900 (USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
