Account Manager, Large Customer Sales, CPG

Minimum qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.

Preferred qualifications :

  • Experience in online sales, advertising, marketing and business development with knowledge of the advertising industry.
  • Understanding of and passion for the CPG industry, landscape and its issues, a vision for its growth, and a commitment to advance Google's forward-looking strategies within the marketplace.
  • High attention to detail and solution-oriented problem solving skills.
  • Independent, comfortable with ambiguity, curious, and resilient.
  • Proven success of collaborating with internal teams.

    Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $84,000-$120,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

    Responsibilities :

  • Develop forward thinking, data-driven sales recommendations that align with client objectives and quantify high-impact opportunities with clear recommendations to pitch to clients.
  • Understand Google's suite of ad products in-and-out (Google Ads and YouTube) and take responsibility for the management of clients.
  • Lead meetings with clients regarding new product launches and advertising opportunities, while ensuring that clients are satisfied with their business growth.
  • Manage operations within the Sales team, aligning workflow among team members to execute complex initiatives and ensure accountability to team goals.
  • Develop and present proactive in-quarter upsells.
