Our client, a leading healthcare organization dedicated to improving patient outcomes, is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to join their team. As a Medical Equipment Technician, you will be an essential part of the biomedical service department supporting the maintenance and repair of critical medical devices. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to service and safety standards, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title : Medical Equipment Technician
Location : Grand Rapids, MI
Pay Range : 19 an hour
Shift : Monday through Friday
What's the Job?
- Diagnose issues and faults with a variety of bio-medical equipment, including life support ventilators and respiratory devices.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance checks, repairs, and updates to ensure equipment safety and performance standards are met.
- Verify the functionality of equipment after service to ensure reliability and accuracy.
- Maintain detailed records of all services, tests, and repairs conducted.
- Stay current with the latest developments and best practices in biomedical equipment maintenance and repair.
