Product Sales Specialist
This is a job description for a Product Sales Specialist in Jackson, Mississippi. We are seeking an elite Product Sales Specialist to champion our Storage & Analysis product lines who is ambitious, visionary, and enthusiastic about shaping the future of IT & Security data in the enterprise. A successful Product Sales Specialist at Cribl will clearly articulate our value proposition, execute on proven sales processes while consistently seeking ways to improve that process, expand Cribl's product adoption within existing customers, and provide crucial insights to shape our product roadmap and business strategy. The Product Sales Specialist will come with very high levels of ownership, a proven track record of consistently exceeding sales performance indicators, a strong ability to foster customer-centric relationships, and a desire to help shape the technical product roadmap for the Storage & Analysis product lines.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Develop a business plan to exceed sales goals alongside the CEO and cross-functional partners including dedicated Storage & Analysis Solution Engineers.
- Engage with Regional Sales Managers on qualified opportunities, actively collaborating with them on account, close, and success plans.
- Work cross-functionally to develop and implement tactics and strategies to grow Cribl's Storage & Analysis business, including influencing the product roadmap to meet customer requirements.
- Manage and maintain the entire sales ecosystem from generating leads through closing.
- Help customers understand the value of Cribl's Storage & Analysis products during the sales process.
- Articulate our value proposition up and down the organization, from engineer up to CxO.
- Forecast predictably and hit sales targets within the Storage & Analysis product lines.
- Travel across the US in the range of 25-35%.
Requirements and Qualifications :
5+ years of Enterprise / Strategic sales experience calling on Security (SIEM & Observability) & IT Personas (CISO / CIO's) either in direct (i.e. RSM) or indirect (i.e. overlay, Partner Business Manager) capacity.Experience working with at least one earlier stage start-up organizationA demonstrated ability to successfully land large upsell & cross-sell / expansion deals and run complex sales process.Experience selling through a channel-led motion.Able to create demand in the territory and sell un-budgeted solutions.Background using MEDDICEqual Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer.
