Mainframe Automation Engineer

Job Description

Immediate need for a talented Mainframe Automation Engineer . This is a 10 months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Plano, TX (Hybrid)

Pay Range : $69 - $70 / hour . Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Requirements and Technology Experience :

• Key Skills : Mainframe, Automation, Rexx
• Candidate must have a minimum of 7 years' experience with Mainframe z / OS operating system.
• Ability to manage multiple deliverables with various time and date deliveries
• Working Mainframe REXX programming experience. Solid understanding of PIPES.
• Solid Experience of Client System Automation ZOS.
• Ability to write and maintain documentation.
• Ability to work closely with clients to automate processes to solve client issues.
• Deep knowledge of Client Utilities i.e. IEBCOPY, IEBGENER, etc.
• Good communication skills, both written and oral are required as the individual must interface with system programmers, application developers, support teams, software vendors and management staff.
