Overview
Lead Electrical Engineer at Kimberly-Clark – based at the Kimberly-Clark Professional Products Mill in Corinth, MS. Occasional travel to North American and International facilities may be required.
In This Role, You Will
- Initiate design, development, optimization and problem solving of manufacturing processes to meet safety and performance expectations; provide leadership for design, development, optimization of new-to-world technologies as well as facility electrical systems.
- Develop knowledge and skills in leadership of the application of engineering principles, LEAN principles, and project management.
- Identify complex technical issues and provide root-cause solutions.
- Coach and mentor team members within the facility in areas of expertise including technical training, problem solving, and knowledge transfer.
- Work closely with fellow engineers on multiple equipment, product or process improvement projects from conception through commercialization.
- Develop and upgrade equipment and processes that meet safety codes, policies and guidelines while providing accurate documentation and ensuring the safety and well-being of operators, maintenance, and other personnel.
Qualifications
A Bachelor\'s or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited college and 3+ years of experience in a variety of technical or operational assignments.Knowledge of manufacturing control systems, such as PLCs; variable speed and servo motor drives; HMI; sensors and instrumentation; automated inspection systems.Exposure to applied distributed control systems including understanding and development with demonstrated ability to translate knowledge into execution of process and capacity improvements.Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve project results within required timeframes.Experience working with Technical Service Providers and / or OEMs and demonstrated ability to drive project results.Total Benefits
