Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM

Employment Type : Contract to Hire

Pay Rate : $25 / hr - $26 / hr, Depending on Experience

Overview :

Our client is seeking a sharp and adaptable Staff Accountant to join their team onsite in Tempe. This role is ideal for someone with at least two years of transactional accounting experience, particularly in reconciling large volumes of data. The department is dynamic and constantly evolving, so the ability to pivot quickly and manage multiple priorities is essential. This is not a routine processing role - we're looking for someone who brings analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to the table.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform daily bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy across high-volume transactions
• Confirm vendor-drafted amounts are correct and aligned with expectations
• Set up new vendors and maintain vendor account integrity
• Reconcile large data sets and investigate discrepancies
• Communicate clearly and professionally via email with internal and external stakeholders
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve workflows
