Clinical Initiatives Manager
The Clinical Initiatives Manager is responsible for leading the development, implementation, education, and evaluation of clinical initiatives in support of Clinical Programs across the organization. This role drives highly complex projects that advance Clinical Programs Executive Committee and Steering Committee goals, strategic initiatives, and the evolution of innovative care models. Reporting to Clinical Programs leadership, the manager fosters innovation, clinical excellence, and care delivery redesign to enhance positive clinical impact along with caregiver and patient experiences. Working collaboratively across the enterprise with key stakeholders including regional service lines, relevant committees, hospitals, regions, departments, councils, and teams, this role defines, designs, and integrates initiatives that improve clinical processes and deliver measurable value to those we serve.
This position is an enterprise role supporting Clinical Programs, with a focus on strategy, innovation, and measurable improvements in patient care quality and cost-efficiency. The Clinical Initiatives Manager partners with Clinical Programs leadership and multidisciplinary teams to drive initiatives that span across regions, departments, and care settings. Responsibilities include leading and integrating clinical initiatives that align with organizational goals and industry benchmarks, beyond the scope of individual service lines. The role emphasizes early risk identification, operational excellence, and the co-creation of clinical care models that deliver value to patients and caregivers system-wide. Collaboration with service lines, shared services, committees, hospitals, and councils is essential to ensure initiatives are designed and implemented to benefit the entire Clinical Programs portfolio. The Clinical Initiatives Manager is accountable for supporting evidence-based practice, workflow redesign, and quality improvement programs that impact clinical outcomes across the enterprise. This role requires strong partnership with the analytics team to identify opportunities for improvement and to measure the impact of Clinical Programs initiatives at both system and regional levels.
