Registered Dental Hygienist

We are seeking an amazing seasonal dental hygienist.  We have a vibrant general practice in Goshen. We see patients Monday through Thursday.  Our hours vary depending on the day.  You must be able to work until 5 : 30 PM (one to three day(s)) per week.

We are a general dental practice that focuses on preventive interventions for orofacial growth, development and function, as well as routine general dentistry for all ages.  Our hygiene program is based on comprehensive care and keeping our patients’ oral health optimal. Our office strives to provide a powerful combination of the best customer service, the latest technology, a highly skilled support team and a commitment to ongoing training and education.

Requirements :

• A.A.S, B.S. or Master’s degree from an accredited Dental Hygiene Program
• Licensed by State of IN Dental Board
• 2 years’ experience preferred (While someone with experience can be valuable, I am willing to train, as long as you have a great work ethic and are willing to learn)
• Proficiency with computers / dental software (You must have experience using basic computer software, including email attachments, Word, and Windows)
• Proficiency with scheduling and treatment planning
• Ability to perform clinical hygiene functions thoroughly, such as taking / evaluating diagnostic X-rays, recording blood pressure, and complete tooth and periodontal charting
• Adult and child prophylaxis and non-surgical periodontal therapy
• Intraoral camera use
• 5-Star patient care and customer service
• Positive, team player with a winning personality and professionalism
• Warm chair-side manner and hospitality

Experience with photography, digital radiographs, and practice software programs is a plus.  Certification and training in laser assisted therapy and local anesthetic administration is a plus.
