Job Description
We are looking for a Process Engineer to design, optimize and improve the manufacturing plant operations. You will be responsible for ensuring that processes are efficient, safe and sustainable.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate the current production processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Design and implement new or modified processes, equipment and systems.
- Conduct experiments, tests and simulations to validate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot the performance of the processes and equipment.
- Collaborate with other engineers, technicians and operators to ensure the smooth operation of the plant.
- Document and communicate the process specifications, changes and results.
- Process data, LEAN and other TQM methods to problem solve and identify operational inefficiencies.
- Create standard operating procedures for process improvements.
- Investigate issues and implement solutions to maximize operations while adhering to quality and safety standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in process engineering in a manufacturing environment.
- Certification in Six Sigma or Lean or similar methodology.
- Strong analytical, technical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CAD.
