Must-Have :

Previous charge experience in a Cath Lab setting

Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures

Description :

Procedure nurse in the Cath Lab.

Responsible for delivering high-quality patient care during cardiac catheterization procedures.

Perform various procedures, including cardiac stent placements and diagnostic catheterizations.

Knowledge of IABP placement / removal and interpretation of dysrhythmias is required.

Must maintain a sterile field while assisting with scrub procedures.

Responsible for room set-up and circulating during procedures.

Participation in on-call rotation is required, approximately 12 days per month.

Interdisciplinary support includes collaboration with various teams for comprehensive patient care.

Daily census typically ranges from 5 to 8 patients.

The unit includes a total of 3 rooms and accommodates 8 beds.

Special procedures may include ablations, pacemaker insertions, and thrombectomy.

Use of specialized equipment such as Rotablator, Impella, IABP, and shockwave devices is expected.
