HR Generalist

Responsibilities :
- Process Payroll : Accurately compile, prepare, and process bi-weekly payroll for all employees using Paycom. This includes verifying all timekeeping data, deductions, and withholdings.
 - FLSA Compliance : Maintain expert-level knowledge of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), state and federal wage and hour laws, and all current tax regulations to ensure 100% compliance in all payroll activities.
 - Database Management : Maintain and update the employee database in Paycom regarding salaries, new hires, terminations, and employee changes.
 - Reporting : Generate and reconcile comprehensive payroll reports, including tax payments, benefits deductions, garnishments, child support payments, workers compensation, and year-end reporting like W-2s.
 - Garnishments : Process and monitor all wage garnishments, levies, and child support orders accurately and confidentially.
 - Audits & Reconciliations : Assist with internal and external payroll audits and perform monthly or quarterly payroll account reconciliations.
 - HRIS Support : Serve as a subject matter expert for the Paycom HRIS, providing support in recruitment and training staff as needed and helping to optimize system functionality.
 
Qualifications :
Experience : Minimum of 5 years of hands-on payroll processing experience in a similar role. Experience in the non-profit sector is a plus.System Expertise : Demonstrated proficiency with Paycom for payroll and HRIS management is essential.Compliance Knowledge : In-depth, current knowledge of the FLSA and federal, state, and local tax and wage laws.Education : Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field is strongly preferred.Skills : Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and excellent data entry speed and accuracy.
