Position Summary :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Microbiology Laboratory Technician to join our team in the development and testing of pharmaceutical products, raw materials, and medical devices. This role will perform microbiological testing in a BioSafety Level-2 (BSL-2) laboratory under GLP conditions and support both routine and non-routine testing projects.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform microbiological testing in accordance with USP, ASTM, ISO, and CLSI standards, including sterility testing, microbial limits, bioburden, and efficacy assays (time-kill, MIC / MBC).
• Plan and execute studies inside a BioSafety Cabinet, maintain microbiological cultures, and record viable counts of microorganisms (CFU).
• Support qualification, calibration, and validation of laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Maintain laboratory notebooks and records in compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Work independently with minimal supervision to complete assigned projects.
• Coordinate or lead test requests as needed, under the direction of a supervisor.
• Assist in internal laboratory investigations, including OOS (out of specification), OOT (out of trend), and protocol deviations.
