Electrical Estimator

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare detailed and accurate electrical estimates for commercial projects of all sizes
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, addendums, and RFP documents
• Utilize EBM or other electrical estimating software (Accubid, McCormick, ConEst, etc.)
• Perform thorough quantity takeoffs and material / labor analysis
• Request, organize, and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes
• Maintain bid documentation, schedules, and project files
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site walks, and value engineering discussions
• Generate and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers
• Serve as a main point of contact for clients, GCs, and project managers
• Follow up on bids and track outcomes for future opportunities
• Support project managers during project handoff and startup
• Communicate clearly and professionally internally and externally
