Insight Global is currently seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Scrum Master who can provide extended support as a business process / requirements analyst on a software development team that designs, develops and maintains complex web-based applications in support of a federal customer. Skills and Requirements
o Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
o Bachelor's degree in a technical field of study is required with a minimum of 5 years of experience (or masters equivalent)
o Proven experience as a Scrum Master, Business Analyst, Requirements Analyst, or in a similar role, facilitating meetings with stakeholders to develop business and technical requirements
o Experience in leading and facilitating all scrum ceremonies
o Experience with SAFe and Program Increment planning and execution
o Strong time management to ensure ceremonies are done efficiently and within time box
o Must be resourceful in removing scrum team roadblocks
o Servant leadership mentality to drive discussion and input from all members of the scrum team
o Experience defining software requirements for complex products using the Agile software delivery methodology
o Ability to understand complex technical concepts and present them in simple terms to non-technical team members and clients
o Candidate must be willing to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple assignments. Must actively support, enforce, and contribute to the Agile practices adopted by the development team
o Must have experience with enterprise web applications for the Federal government
o Experience with 508 compliance
o Experience in working on software development projects and understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
o Proficiency in requirement elicitation techniques and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
o Experience with process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) and methodologies.
o Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
o Experience with formal system development methodologies including Agile
o Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
o Experience with business process modeling
