This is a prn position at the Tunnell Cancer Infusion Center

Join Beebe Healthcare's dedicated Oncology team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients receiving infusion therapy and cancer treatment. The Oncology Infusion Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing both direct and indirect nursing care to patients within the Oncology Infusion Unit. This compassionate and skilled professional delivers high-quality care in accordance with departmental and hospital policies, ensuring safe administration of chemotherapy, biotherapy, and other infusion treatments.

This role requires strong clinical judgment, interpretive skills, and the ability to collaborate closely with physicians, pharmacists, and the interdisciplinary care team. The Oncology Infusion Nurse plays a vital part in patient education, symptom management, and emotional support for patients and their families throughout the treatment process.

\n\nResponsibilities : \n

• Documents medications given appropriately and in a timely manner.
• Facilitates, implements, and evaluates the Patient Plan of Care and outcomes in collaboration with the health care team.
• Technical Skills

Demonstrates appropriate clinical skills and technical competence in providing patient care.

Demonstrates appropriate clinical judgment.

Reports critical values immediately.

Assesses educational needs and documents appropriately.

Prioritizes responsibilities and issues, taking into account urgency and patient needs.
