Database Security Technical Lead

A company is looking for a Database Security Subject-Matter Expert (SME) / Technical Lead.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead the planning and implementation of the database security program for a federal client

Operate automated vulnerability assessment tools to identify and remediate database security weaknesses

Serve as the primary subject-matter expert for database security, providing guidance on security architecture and compliance

Required Qualifications :

5+ years of experience in database security or information security roles within large-scale environments

3+ years of experience securing diverse database platforms in production environments

Proven experience managing and securing over 1,000 production databases

Proficiency with database vulnerability assessment and monitoring tools

Strong understanding of NIST, FISMA, and federal cybersecurity frameworks
