Mechanical Design Engineer Construction

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team and support high-profile commercial and institutional construction projects across the Bay Area. This role is ideal for an engineer with a strong background in mechanical systems design who thrives in a collaborative environment and is motivated by solving complex building challenges.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare detailed mechanical system designs, drawings, and specifications for HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems.
• Coordinate with architects, structural, electrical, and civil engineers to integrate mechanical systems into building designs.
• Perform load calculations, energy analysis, and system sizing to ensure efficiency and compliance with codes.
• Support construction teams by reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, and providing technical guidance during field operations.
• Conduct site visits to monitor installation and ensure alignment with design intent.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to meet schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
