Salary : $130k - $185k + equity

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, analyzing, and validating critical fluidic and mechanical systems for aerospace propulsion hardware. Your work will have a direct and significant impact on the configuration and performance of a new generation of aerospace engines.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the detailed design, analysis, and validation of propulsion systems from early prototypes to flight-qualified hardware.
• Conduct design trade studies, considering system-level impacts and ensuring technical challenges are solved from first principles.
• Support designs with structural, thermal, and fluid analyses.
• Present and lead design reviews, soliciting feedback from a small, agile team of experts.
• Get hands-on by assembling prototypes, designing complementary tooling, and creating work instructions.
• Conduct hardware testing, analyze performance data, and verify system requirements.
• Efficiently diagnose hardware problems and determine corrective actions.
