TriTech Enterprise Systems Inc. (TriTech) is seeking two 'Application Support Engineers ' to support a MD State contract. This candidate will p rovide day-to-day operational support to all applications ensuring availability, performance, and compliance with defined SLAs. In addition, act as first responder for application, level issues, managing monitoring alerts, ticket triage, root cause analysis, and recovery actions.
Key Responsibilities Continuously monitor application and API health via Splunk, CloudWatch, and New Relic dashboards.
Triage incidents (Severity 1–3) and execute approved recovery or mitigation steps.
Perform log analysis, error tracing, and coordinate with client for platform-level escalations.
Validate nightly batch runs and generate daily status reports.
Assist in release validations, smoke tests, and rollback execution under CAB oversight.
Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and update runbooks after every production event.
Support DR and backup validation activities as part of quarterly drills.
Collaborate with Program Office and Security teams to maintain uptime ≥99% per SLA.
Participate in daily stand-ups and weekly O&M review meetings.
Required Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 5–8 years of experience in production support or operations engineering.
Strong experience with AWS (EC2, RDS, CloudWatch), Splunk, and JIRA.
Proven ability to perform RCA and provide issue resolution under SLA conditions.
Working knowledge of ITIL Incident and Problem Management processes.
Preferred Skills / Certifications AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or equivalent.
Familiarity with scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for log automation and monitoring.
Experience supporting Java, .NET, or Node.js application stacks.
Understanding of HIPAA / MARS-E compliance environments.
