Job Overview : We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Therapist for a 13-week contract at a Skilled Nursing Facility. This role involves providing high-quality rehabilitation therapy to residents, helping improve communication, swallowing, and overall quality of life. The position is scheduled for 36 hours per week during day shifts. Key Responsibilities : Deliver individualized speech therapy services to residents based on assessments and care plans. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to track progress and adjust therapy plans as needed. Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards. Ensure patient safety and adherence to professional standards at all times. Requirements : Must hold an active Texas license for Speech Therapy. Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in rehabilitation therapy, preferably in a Skilled Nursing Facility. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Additional Information : 13-week contract, 36 hours per week on day shifts. No holiday coverage required.
