Job descriptionHigh School Diploma or GED required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required, training provided during orientation Previous hospital experience preferred Experience as a Patient Care Technician, Nursing Assistant, or Medical Assistant preferred Experience as an EMT or Nurse's Aide training preferred Current Nursing or Psychology students preferred Ability to stay mobile, including standing for extended periods, is necessary Ability to work in isolation precaution situations Quick learner with adaptability to changing patient needs, strong accountability, teamwork, dedication to ongoing education, and a passion for high-quality care are essential Seniority level : Associate Employment type : Full-time Job function : Education and Training Industry : Hospitals and Healthcare

Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety of patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
- Work effectively in isolation precaution situations
- Create a safe environment for patients on One-to-One Supervision for Suicide Precautions, Behavioral Restraints, Line of Sight, or Patient Safety
- Perform frequent checks on patients with a Patient Watch Order
- Guide patients to prevent falls or wandering
- Record and document patient behavior accurately
- Travel with patients as needed
