About this Position Teaching Assistant Professor of Anatomy and Physiology The Department of Biology at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater invites applications for a full-time Teaching Assistant Professor position with a start date of August 2026. We seek an individual who will focus on teaching our human anatomy and physiology courses and participate in the department’s pursuit of excellence in education. Applicants should provide evidence of their skills in science education and pedagogy, which may include designing curriculum, developing biology labs, and / or experience with oversight of large courses. Teaching Assistant Professors are career-track faculty at OSU, who are initially appointed for three years with the expectation of reappointment, dependent on satisfactory performance. Full faculty benefits are provided, and the position is eligible for promotion to the ranks of Teaching Associate Professor and Teaching Professor. Responsibilities : The selected applicant will be expected to teach the equivalent of three courses per semester and participate in the department through service activities. The position will include oversight and mentoring of graduate teaching assistants and undergraduate students. We expect the successful candidate to play an integral teaching role in our human anatomy and physiology courses.
