Summary Description :
This position is responsible for designing, implementing, integrating, and maintaining IAM solutions and systems that ensure the security and privacy of user identities and access rights.
Job Description
Responsibilities :
- Develops and implements IAM strategies and policies that align with the business objectives and security requirements.
- Configures and integrates IAM technologies such as single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, privileged access management, identity governance, etc.
- Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues related to IAM systems and services.
- Automates and optimizes IAM processes and workflows to improve efficiency and user experience.
- Collaborates with other IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure the compatibility and interoperability of IAM solutions.
- Monitors and audits IAM systems and activities to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations and standards.
- Stays up to date on the latest IAM trends, threats, and best practices.
- Participates in capacity planning, performance testing, and disaster recovery discussions to ensure performant, scalable, highly available, and resilient IAM platform
- Documents system configurations and performs updates to documents as environment changes
- Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.
Additional Job Description
Education :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience required
Experience :
- Experience with various IAM standards and technologies such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, LDAP, Active Directory, etc.
- Experience with one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, etc.
- Experience with Windows, Linux / Unix, scripting, SQL, Powershell, and web services
- Experience with IAM tools and platforms such as Entra, CyberArk, ForgeRock, Okta, Ping Identity, etc.
- Experience with security principles, practices, and protocols such as encryption, hashing, digital signatures, PKI, SSL / TLS, etc.
- 3+ years’ experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
- Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and Visio (as applicable)
- Proficiency in JD Edwards (as applicable)
- Demonstrated knowledge of various IAM standards and technologies such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, LDAP, Active Directory, etc.
- Demonstrated knowledge of IAM tools and platforms such as Entra, CyberArk, ForgeRock, Okta, Ping Identity, etc.
- Demonstrated knowledge of security principles, practices, and protocols such as encryption, hashing, digital signatures, PKI, SSL / TLS, etc.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to communicate well with the general public and experience in establishing and maintaining an effective working relationship with management, vendors, and co-workers
- Ability to work in a team environment
Professional Certification :
- Azure certifications preferred
- Azure Administrator Associate
- Azure Security Engineer Associate
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert
- Enterprise Administrator Expert (Office 365 Administration)
- Identity and Access Administrator Associate
- Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library Certification (ITIL) preferred
Working Conditions / Travel Requirements :
- Expected to work the necessary time to satisfactorily fulfill job responsibilities
- Must be able to report to work timely and as required by operational / business needs
- Must be able to work a full-time schedule and work outside of normal business hours when necessary
- Some travel, both locally and long distances, (including air travel), to worksites, meeting sites, and other locations may be necessary
