STORES CLERK

Full-Time On-Site Hourly

JOB SUMMARY :

The Stores Clerk is responsible for stocking and issuing materials or supplies. They will perform data-entry, reporting, and recordkeeping tasks while following standard work for material handling, such as receiving, shipping, and warehousing.

Compliance with safety and quality rules is crucial. Organizing materials in designated storage areas based on predetermined sequences is also part of their role.

REPORTS TO :

The Stores Clerk reports directly to the Director of Materials

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES :

None.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Manage inbound material flow and monitor inbound delivery performance.
• Receive, inspect, and store inbound deliveries in accordance with established procedures.
• Track product availability, pick, pack, and ship products for delivery.
• Process returns following company guidelines.
• Locate stock and prepare it for movement as required.
• Maintain inventory status, ensuring accurate records of quantities and locations.
• Perform physical inventory procedures, including cycle counts and stock audits.
• Communicate promptly with relevant stakeholders when supply inventory levels are low.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements :

REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES :

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• General knowledge of aerospace warehouse / stockroom procedures.
• Minimum of 1+ years of experience in an aerospace manufacturing / warehouse environment.
• Proficiency in operating automated or computerized systems.
• Ability to read and interpret invoices and packing slips accurately.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Familiarity with ERP, MRP systems.
• At least 1 year experience in purchasing / logistics in the aviation industry.
• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

• Must be able to stand, sit, and move around for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Manual dexterity and physical strength necessary to operate office equipment.
• Must have visual acuity to read and analyze data on screens and documents.
• Must be able to hear and speak clearly to communicate with team members and suppliers.
