This is a hybrid role based in our new Dallas infrastructure hub where we work on the latest technologies in a cutting-edge environment.

The Role

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our Network and Security Platform Management team, which is responsible for a global network footprint across office, data center and co-location environments. In this senior position, you will leverage your deep technical expertise in large-scale data center network operations to ensure performance, resilience and scalability. You will play a key role in implementing and supporting cutting-edge networking solutions that support complex compute and research workflows, and work collaboratively across multiple engineering and operations teams.

Key responsibilities of the role include :

• Implementing and maintaining scalable and resilient data center network infrastructure, built on Cisco and Arista technologies
• Leading troubleshooting and break / fix efforts for complex enterprise network issues involving routing, switching, firewalls and WAN infrastructure
• Automating operational tasks, using tools such as Git, Ansible, Python and Jinja2
• Implementing and managing WAN networks using IOS-XR, segment routing and multitenant design principles
• Monitoring and proactively managing the health and performance of a global network infrastructure, using modern telemetry and observability tools
• Supporting and operating Infrastructure-as-Code and CI / CD practices for network provisioning
• Collaborating with the Network Engineering team to deliver high-quality designs and ensuring the successful roll-out of strategic initiatives
• Working closely with Data Center, Security and DevOps teams to ensure alignment on infrastructure goals and configurations
• Mentoring and coaching junior team members; promoting knowledge sharing and documentation across the team
• Conducting regular network audits and ensuring compliance with internal standards and best practices
