Lead Network Architect – Global Infrastructure
Dallas, TX (5 days / week onsite)
$175,000 – $250,000 base salary + bonus + equity
The Opportunity
We’re seeking an accomplished Lead Network Architect to lead a global infrastructure transformation at the foundational layer of a world-leading semiconductor and manufacturing company. This is a rare opportunity to manage the largest infrastructure budget in the organization, delivering mission-critical performance, security, and scalability across both legacy and next-generation environments.
You'll be at the helm of global network operations, overseeing Network Engineering, Data Centers, and Network Security — with a footprint that spans Dallas, India, and other strategic international sites. The role combines technical depth with visionary leadership, shaping infrastructure strategy in support of AI, enterprise workloads, and data-driven manufacturing.
What You’ll Lead
- Manage hybrid environments — from legacy 3-tier Cisco networks to modern spine-leaf architectures.
- Drive adoption of automation, software-defined networking, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Partner closely with private cloud and platform teams to support Kubernetes and containerized workloads.
- Ensure secure, scalable connectivity across on-prem, cloud (AWS, Azure), and hybrid architectures.
- Lead vendor strategy and relationships (e.g., Arista, Cisco).
- Champion network security and compliance — especially in operational technology (OT) and semiconductor environments.
- Leverage data insights and AI to optimize network performance and efficiency.
- Provide executive-level reporting on infrastructure health, risk, and cost optimization.
Who You Are
7-10+ years in enterprise network engineering and operations.Proven experience managing large-scale, mission-critical network infrastructure.Strong grasp of protocols and technologies : TCP / IP, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, VPN, SDN.Deep understanding of data center operations, hybrid networks, and cloud integration.Experience with Arista, Cisco, and spine-leaf architectures strongly preferred.Familiarity with manufacturing or OT environments is a significant plus.Strategic mindset, able to balance innovation with operational rigor.Strong communication and project leadership skills across global teams.Relevant certifications (CCIE, CISSP, etc.) are a strong advantage.Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field; Master’s preferred.Why This Role
