Job Summary :
The Salesforce Operations Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of REE Medical’s Salesforce environment. This position is responsible for maintaining system stability, supporting integrations, and serving as the primary problem solver when technical issues arise. Partnering closely with end-user support teams and external Salesforce consultants, the Salesforce Operations Engineer combines hands-on technical expertise with a strong service orientation to deliver a seamless, scalable, and well-functioning Salesforce platform that supports REE Medical’s growth.
What is expected in this role :
- Serving as Tier 2 / 3 support for Salesforce-related issues escalated by the help desk, ensuring timely resolution and minimal business disruption.
- This means you are acting as the technical escalation point, diagnosing complex problems, and restoring platform stability quickly.
- This means you are troubleshooting and resolving platform bugs, integration issues, and data anomalies across the Salesforce environment and that you are are diving deep into logs, APIs, and workflows to identify root causes and implement sustainable fixes that prevent recurrence.
- This means you are owning day-to-day senior admin functions including permission sets, role management, validation rules, and flow tuning, thus safeguarding data integrity, enforcing security controls, and streamlining workflows for a consistent user experience.
- This means you are monitoring system health, error logs, and API integrations to proactively identify and resolve issues before they escalate, maintaining operational reliability, tracking system performance, and ensuring integrations remain stable at scale.
- This also means you are testing new features, patches, and Salesforce releases in sandbox environments before production deployment ensuring updates are deployed smoothly.
- This also means you are maintaining internal documentation for recurring issues, configuration changes, and technical procedures enabling knowledge sharing, creating repeatable processes, and reducing dependencies on individuals for support.
- Collaborating with the Salesforce Architect to deploy configuration changes, minor features, and ongoing system enhancements.
- This means you are supporting agile release cycles, validating build quality, and ensuring changes align with overall system architecture.
- Acting as a liaison between front-line support teams, offshore SMEs, and consulting partners to ensure smooth communication and alignment.
- This means you are coordinating resources, bridging technical and non-technical stakeholders, and driving issues to resolution.
- Contributing to ongoing improvements in Salesforce governance, including user access, data quality, and compliance monitoring.

Requirements
What you need in this role to be successful :
Minimum 2-4 Years of experience supporting and administering Salesforce in a professional environment, with a proven ability to manage day-to-day platform operations and user support.This means you are proficient in Salesforce configuration, including user and permission management, validation rules, process automation using Flows, and data troubleshooting to ensure system reliability and user efficiency.This also means you have demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and resolving technical issues across both standard and custom Salesforce functionality.This also means you have working knowledge of Salesforce tools such as Data Loader, Workbench, and Developer Console for advanced administration, troubleshooting, and data management.Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM-201) or higher, highly preferred.Other highly preferred qualifications include exposure to Apex, SOQL, and Salesforce development practices; experience with managed packages, third-party applications, and integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Logic Apps, Zapier); prior support of enterprise Salesforce environments; and working knowledge of IT service management platforms such as Jira, ServiceNow, or Zendesk.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while driving timely resolution and fostering continuous improvement and operational efficiency.Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively, with a proven track record of thriving in fast-paced, fluid environments, including start-up or early-stage settings with limited infrastructure or defined processes.Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders while building and maintaining strong relationships with internal leaders across departments and external partners.Experience within the VA Disability Industry is a plus.Ability to think strategically while still maintaining a detail-oriented, self-motivated, and well-organized mindset.Exceptional attention to detail.Proactive thinking, consistently foreseeing and preparing for forthcoming challenges or opportunities.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other relevant fields required. An additional 2+ plus years of experience can be considered in lieu of degree requirement.Benefits

Competitive salary : $125,000-$145,000 Salary Depending on Experience.
