About the Role
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to manage large-scale IT modernization initiatives for the State. The ideal candidate will hold an active PMP (or equivalent) certification, demonstrate strong project leadership skills, and bring proven experience coordinating enterprise IT projects in government environments.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate tasks necessary to deliver large IT projects.Provide project management leadership through the entire project lifecycle (initiation closure).Develop project management tools for scope, risk, communications, change control, and tracking.Monitor milestones, risks, and schedules; deliver executive-level updates and presentations.Collaborate with vendors, SMEs, business analysts, and state IT leaders.Ensure compliance with PMO standards, system security, and quality objectives.Facilitate kickoff meetings, project steering committee discussions, and status updates.Conduct post-project reviews, lessons learned, and confirm sponsor acceptance.Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelors degree required; Masters preferred in related field.Active PMP certification from PMI or equivalent (must upload).7+ years of IT Project Management experience leading moderate-to-high complexity projects.Experience working in state government projects.Hands-on expertise with Microsoft O365 applications .Experience leading / coordinating vendor-managed projects (within last 5 years).Experience working in Enterprise outsourced environments .Executive-level written and verbal communication skills.Preferred Skills
Masters degree in related field or specialized training.Experience working in State Government projects.Flexible work from home options available.
