Warehouse Lead / Supervisor

The role involves working closely with both the sales team and warehouse staff to ensure client orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. This position requires strong leadership skills to coordinate warehouse operations and communicate effectively with the sales team.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee daily activities of distribution center staff, monitoring performance, and assigning tasks to ensure high productivity and safety compliance.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Responsible for the maintenance of machinery including pay-out, take-ups, counters, scales, braiders, forklifts, shrink wrap machine, doors, scissor gates, and dock levelers.
• Perform or supervise daily forklift inspection checklists to ensure functionality and compliance with OSHA requirements.
• Coordinate with the sales and logistics team to ensure timely order fulfillment and resolve operational issues.
• Collaborate with the Lead Shipper to prioritize daily shipments and ensure orders are dispatched on time and in the correct quantities.
• Release daily orders from the Sales Department and manage cutting line priorities, notifying relevant departments of order status.
• Manage waste, scrap, and recycling processes.
• Ensure supplies are ordered for the shipping, cutting, and braiding departments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse.

Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
