Warehouse Supervisor

The Warehouse Supervisor guides and controls facilities activities in the warehouse. Supervises all facilities / custodial staff, while maintaining the security of the warehouse. Provides a safe working environment through compliance of safety programs. Job Responsibilities :

• Partner with temporary staffing agencies to ensure adequate coverage during peak periods or staffing shortages.
• Assist in planning and assigning daily work tasks to achieve the most efficient use of personnel and equipment across warehouse operations.
• Maintain appropriate levels of cleaning and custodial supplies.
• Conduct frequent inspections of warehouse interior and exterior areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness, safety, and quality standards.
• Maintain awareness of all custodial and recycling work assignments to guarantee consistent and adequate coverage throughout all shifts.
• Supervise custodial and warehouse staff responsible for cleaning and maintaining all interior and exterior spaces.
• Supervise and assist with recycling staff responsibilities for the recycling and cleanliness of the Recycle Center.
• When required, assist with custodial and recycling duties to ensure operational continuity.
• Serve as essential personnel during emergencies, inclement weather, or other events requiring continuous facility support.
• Ensure all custodial and recycling employees adhere to safety standards and follow established security protocols.
• Assist in managing service orders and communicate directly with vendors to ensure timely response and issue resolution.
• Recommend and help implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline warehouse operations.
• Provide training and guidance to warehouse employees; assist in recruitment, onboarding, and skill development of new team members.
