Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Director of Technical Product to spearhead the design, development, and implementation of our employer program's technical infrastructure.

As the Director of Technical Product, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare delivery by overseeing the integration of various systems and technologies critical to the success of our employer program which provides managed care solutions to self-insured employers.

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties

  • Ownership of Technical Design : Lead the conceptualization and design of the technical architecture for the employer program, ensuring scalability, security, and seamless integration of disparate systems.
  • Development Oversight : Direct the development efforts of internal and external teams, guiding them through the implementation of secure data transfer mechanisms, API integrations, marketing automation software deployment, web form development, and data visualization platforms.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate closely with stakeholders from various departments including product management, engineering, data analytics, and business development to align technical solutions with business objectives.
  • Vendor Management : Manage relationships with telemedicine and pharmacy vendors to facilitate API integrations and ensure smooth data exchange processes.

Select implementation vendor and internal resources to bring a solution to market on an expediate timeline.

Quality Assurance : Implement robust quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and accuracy of data transfers, API integrations, and software deployments.

Include security and compliance requirements including SOC II and HITRUST compliance certifications.

  • Project Leadership : Drive the project forward with a sense of urgency, effectively managing timelines, resources, and priorities to meet project milestones and deliverables.
  • Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for process optimization and technology enhancement to continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the employer program.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of at least 10 years of experience in technical product management, software development, or related roles within the healthcare industry.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong understanding of secure data transfer protocols and experience with sFTP sites and CSV file management.
  • Expertise in API integration methodologies and experience integrating with telemedicine and pharmacy vendors.
  • Proficiency in deploying and configuring marketing automation software such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent platforms.
  • Solid grasp of web development principles and experience in designing and deploying web forms for data collection and onboarding processes.
  • Deep experience with data management systems to ingest, organize, and analyze; visualization tools and platforms for aggregating and reporting clinical outcomes (e.

g., Tableau, Power BI).

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership qualities with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects to successful completion with internal and external resources.
