Security Officer - Tech / Media Patrol

As a Security Officer - Tech / Media Patrol in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you conduct routine patrols, interact with employees and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service. You will support a welcoming and secure environment through clear communication and a people-first approach, reflecting our values of agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity. Pay Rate : $19.38 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Monday to Friday 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and assisting with emergency response activities as needed
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner
  • Conduct regular and random patrols within the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity
  • Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the premises, reporting any irregularities or security-related concerns to the proper personnel
  • Work collaboratively with site staff and visitors to support a secure environment at this technology, media, and telecommunications location
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of shift activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site protocols

  • Availability across various days and shifts
  • Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
  • A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Access control and / or badge experience is preferred
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred
  • Holding a state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred
  • Customer service experience is preferred
  • CPR certification is preferred
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
