This Plant Supervisor is responsible for ensuring efficient workflow, quality standards, and safety compliance while fostering a positive, team-oriented work environment within the Finishing department. The Plant Supervisor will coordinate personnel, materials, and equipment to meet production goals, minimize downtime, and continuously improve processes.
Requirements : Essential Duties :
Coordinate and monitor production activities across multiple departments to ensure workflow continuity and efficiency.Analyze the production process to proactively identify and resolve potential bottlenecks or disruptions.Address personnel matters promptly, including employee conflicts, interpersonal challenges, and performance concerns, to maintain a positive and productive work environment.Communicate effectively and professionally with managers and fellow plant supervisors, including clear and timely email correspondence.Assess employee strengths and assign team members to roles that maximize productivity and operational effectiveness.Respond swiftly and appropriately to workplace accidents, injuries, and emergency situations, ensuring safety protocols are followed.Inspect products and materials for defects, monitor production tickets, and oversee print and quality control standards to ensure compliance.Generate and review production reports, maintaining detailed shift records that track gains, losses, and time efficiency metrics.Essential Competencies / Qualifications :
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills2+ years of relevant work experienceStrong problem-solving skillsAbility to work 12-hour shifts, 3-4 days per weekGeneral knowledge of the 4 / C printing processStrong computer and technical skillsAbility to multi-task, have a plant-wide vision, and manage time effectively.
