We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a contract basis for a healthcare client in Cincinnati. This role is ideal for someone who pays close attention to detail, excels in managing accounts payable, and conducts thorough account analysis. Responsibilities :

Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Conduct detailed account analysis to identify discrepancies and maintain financial accuracy.

Prepare and review financial reports to support project objectives.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth integration of accounting practices.

Provide support for FEMA-related financial projects, ensuring deadlines are met.

Maintain organized records of financial transactions and documentation.

Assist in resolving payment discrepancies and vendor inquiries.

Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

Offer recommendations to improve efficiency in accounting processes.

Support audit and reconciliation activities as required.

Requirements :

Proven experience in accounts payable management and account analysis.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.

Effective communication skills for liaising with vendors and internal teams.

Prior experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
