Job descriptionCarry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment while providing excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and staff. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies, disturbances, or other urgent events. Perform regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to provide a visible security-related presence. Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain order within the location. Provide assistance to patients, visitors, and staff as needed, including helping with wayfinding or escorting individuals when appropriate. Document incidents, observations, and activities thoroughly and promptly according to Allied Universal policies and client requirements. Collaborate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and / or medical personnel when required by the situation. Follow all Allied Universal training, licensing, and compliance requirements relevant to armed security-related responsibilities in healthcare settings. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Customer service experience is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred. X-ray screening experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Security Officer - Armed Healthcare Patrol

- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
