Job Description
Lead sales efforts for a specialized portfolio of life science instruments within a defined territory
Responsible for meeting quarterly and annual sales targets
Collaborate closely with sales leadership to generate new opportunities
Retain and grow the existing customer base through consistent engagement
Ensure customers are fully trained and maximizing use of the products
Drive upgrades from outdated systems to current technologies
Expand product usage into additional departments
Support customers with appropriate consumables and service contract solutions
Proactively prospect and identify new business opportunities
Effectively communicate value propositions to potential clients
Develop and execute strategies to displace competitors and close new sales

The Successful Applicant
Experience selling into biotech or GMP-regulated environments preferred
10+ years of experience working with biopharma or biotech customers
Strong understanding of bioprocessing and capital equipment sales
Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
Strong communication skills-both technical and commercial
Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
Passion for commercial excellence and sales best practices
Scientific and technical aptitude
Self-starter with entrepreneurial mindset
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce.com preferred)
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel approximately 50%
