Job description

Communication Specialist

Demonstrated basic knowledge of communication platform and tools. Creative with strong communication skills, ability to build relationships with internal team members and clients that enhance collaboration. Show initiative to effectively engage with both internal and external partners to develop an understanding of business strategies and the healthcare industry, resulting in the delivery of high-quality, error-free content for various communication projects. You work as part of a collaborative team across multiple cross-functional initiatives and are skilled at crafting targeted messaging with minimal revisions for a broad group of audiences, with a focus on meeting and exceeding client needs. You are required to execute comprehensive communication strategies that include creating content for a diverse array of communication artifacts, such as communications plans, one-pagers, presentations, and others including social media content.

This is a hybrid role located in the Rosslyn, VA / Washington, DC Metro Area and requires 4 days in office per week.

Responsibilities

Maintain strong, clear communications and relationships with team, organization, clients, and stakeholders. Collaborates across internal and external stakeholders to gain an understanding of solutions, business strategy and workflows, along with the healthcare industry to create and deliver content for assigned communication projects that are error-free. Ability to identify and develop communications for client and internal audiences. Review, proofread, and edit all written materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to written communication best practices. Adhere to established team and client processes to support consistency in project reporting. Collaborate with leaders and peers to gain an understanding of solutions, business strategy and healthcare industry to create content for assigned projects. Execute communications strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, and messaging. Create and curate communications from concept to completion including white papers, articles, web pages, social media, presentations and other marketing collateral. Evaluate communication trends using various platforms and to measure and create approaches to create shape messaging and narrative that positively influences external stakeholders and mitigates emerging risks. Manage multiple ongoing communication projects and manage deadlines that include stakeholder and leadership review. Manage time and ensure proper time reporting depending on the task you are currently working on. Track, measure, and present results of communication efforts. Proactively seek and are receptive to feedback to improve the quality of products delivered.

Travel : Approximately 50% of the time

Expectations

Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations. Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position. Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Applicants for U.S. based positions with Oracle Health must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Due to specific client contract requirements, this position requires that the successful candidate be a U.S. citizen. The client contract also requires receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for the position.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only.

US : Hiring Range in USD from : $71,200 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity. Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. Oracle US offers a comprehensive benefits package which includes the following :

  • Paid time off : Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  • Paid sick leave : 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
