Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN to join a high-risk Labor & Delivery unit, requiring BLS and NRP certification along with WI or compact RN licensure.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit caring for high-risk obstetric patients
  • Night shifts from 19 : 00 to 07 : 30
  • Circulator experience for cesarean deliveries required
  • Float as needed within skill set and potentially to nearby sites within a 40-mile radius
  • Rotating holiday coverage with regular staff
  • Must work every other weekend
  • Responsibilities include care for laboring mothers, high-risk obstetric cases, and circulating during cesarean deliveries
  • May be required to float to other units or facilities within a 40-mile radius as needed
  • Teamwork with both permanent staff and other travelers
  • Applicants must be prepared to rotate holidays and work every other weekend as scheduled
  • Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate depending on facility radius rules

  • Active WI or compact RN license
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA
  • Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification through AHA or the American Academy of Pediatrics
  • Fetal monitoring competency or recent completion of AWHONN, Relias, or similar program within the past 2 years
  • Nursys license verification within 30 days prior to start
  • Applicants must provide a valid US Social Security Number and home address
