Job descriptionPaid Time Off Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401K Associate Referral Program Respond to inventory issues from operators on the floor Ensuring system count matches physical inventory Resolve discrepancies at location and pallet level Look for missing product in storage locations Update WMS to match physical through various methods / Research and document root cause Accurately receive inventory Work with checkers to ensure accurate receipt of inventory Audit inbound receipts, both physically and through receipt documentations Data setup and validation Accurately input required data elements into WMS and various other applications Audit existing data for inaccurate data Manage unsalable inventory to resolution Accurately identify, log, and document potential damage. Accurately document information on product recalls, including physically segregating as required. Ensure appropriate signage accurately located in distribution center Process analysis and documentation Assist with daily and weekly reports Assist in development and implementation of special projects and tasks Other projects and tasks assigned by supervision 2 years of general office experience required 1 year of customer service experience required High School diploma or equivalent required Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required AS400 experience preferred Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening. The physical and mental demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to occasionally lift and / or move up to 25lbs / 12kg. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Position Summary :
Penske Logistics is looking for a warehouse clerk associate to become part of an excellent team. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are safety conscious and have a pleasant, outgoing attitude who want to excel in a warehouse environment.
Friday to Sunday 6 : 00am-6 : 00pm
- $20.50 base rate + $1.00 shift differential = $21.50 p / h
