Position : EMG Physician (Neurologist / Physical Medicine Physician)
Location : Phoenix, Arizona
Schedule : Monday through Friday
Compensation : $300,000 to $400,000 per year plus bonus
Benefits : Med, Dent, Vis, PTO / Sick, License Reimbursement, CME Stipend $1,000, 401k

Job Summary :
The EMG Physician will be responsible for performing and interpreting EMG tests to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with neuromuscular conditions.
This position requires a high level of expertise in electromyography and the ability to provide accurate and timely diagnostic assessments.
This position is only responsible for the EMG test portion, APPs and other physicians will complete patient exams and evaluations.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive EMG examinations on patients referred by primary care physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Interpret EMG results to diagnose various neuromuscular disorders, including but not limited to, peripheral neuropathy, myopathy, radiculopathy, and motor neuron diseases.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans for patients based on EMG findings.
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records, documenting EMG results, clinical findings, and treatment recommendations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in electromyography and neuromuscular medicine through continuous medical education.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant medical regulations and ethical standards.
- Provide patient education and counseling on their conditions and treatment options.
Requirements :
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification in Neurology or Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
- Fellowship training in Electromyography (EMG) or Neuromuscular Medicine.
- State medical license and the ability to practice medicine in the State region.
- Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
