Akkodis is seeking a System Engineer for a contract with a client in Valencia, CA. This role involves designing and testing software systems to support RD and manufacturing processes, with responsibilities including debugging and documentation.

Rate Range : $55 / hour to 63 / hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

System Engineer job responsibilities include :

Design, develop, and maintain software systems and applications to support RD and manufacturing processes.

Analyze system requirements and collaborate with users to define necessary modifications and improvements.

Perform debugging, testing, and validation of software and firmware to ensure functionality and reliability.

Document development processes and maintain records using approved tools and standards.

Ensure compliance with quality standards by integrating quality requirements into all aspects of software development.

Continuously improve workflows and methodologies by collaborating with cross-functional teams and applying engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related discipline; master’s degree preferred for advanced roles.

2–4 years with a BS degree or 1–2 years with an MS degree in software development or systems engineering.

Proficiency in Python test development and version control tools such as GitHub and Bitbucket.

Hands-on experience using electronic testing tools like oscilloscopes and multimeters.

Pay Details : $55.00 to $63.00 per hour
