Lab Technician I

Pride Health is seeking a Lab Technician I for an American multinational conglomerate operating in the fields of industry, worker safety, healthcare, and consumer goods.

Location : St. Paul, MN (on-site)

Job Type : Contract

Length : 12-Months

Hours : 1st shift - Core hours, flexible | 40 hours

Pay Rate : $21.00 - $23.40 per hour

Overview :

Position is a support role requiring more work direction whereby worker follows generally defined procedures. Worker performs chemical, physical, and / or mechanical analyses and tests required for research, development, or quality control of processes and products. Assists with compiling, analyzing, interpreting, and documenting results

Requirements :

• Associate’s degree or higher, or equivalent experience in a science or engineering role.
• Ability to follow procedures and methods and to work well on a self-directed team is required.
• Good mechanical aptitude and skills as well as experience and specific training in inspection procedures and / or the product line are required.
• Experience in a lab or technical environment is preferred.
• Must be computer literate with good communication and time management skills.
• Desire to work in a laboratory testing environment to help develop new abrasive products.
• Ability to follow procedures and methods, and work independently to complete outlined tasks.
• Managing product testing projects as assigned, including schedule and data management
• Interest in working 100% in a laboratory setting, testing abrasive finishing of fiber optic connectors. Training will be provided.
• Open for recent grads but previous experience in a lab or technical environment is preferred.
• Experience in Excel (Vlookups) and MS Office
• Self-starter able to manage task assignments
• Clear communication skills
