Restaurant Manager
The Crooked Antler, located inside The Steamboat Grand Hotel, is looking for a Restaurant Manager with at least 3 years of supervisory experience in hospitality management, specifically with a Food & Beverage emphasis. Essential Duties
- Oversee all phases of outlet operations, to include restaurant, coffee shop, room service and pool bars.
- Oversee all Human Resources issues for Front of House staff
- Oversee all staffing / scheduling requirements for all outlets
- Create weekly labor / revenue forecasts
- Manage all staff payroll procedures
- Maintain all beverage levels and manage ordering
- Implement training program of service standards for all Front of House and for all beverage servers
- Closely monitor guests dining experience and maintain a strong presence on the floor
- Develop and implement creative strategies to increase revenues and average checks
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness standards
- Develop daily shift meetings and strategies
- Closely monitor opening and closing procedures
- Ensure understanding and compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements
- Other duties, as assigned
Required Qualification
Must have a thorough understanding of restaurant operations and management techniques, wine and beverage service, and fine dining service standardMust have at least 3 years of supervisory experience in hospitality management with a F&B emphasisAt least average overall computer and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Publisher) proficiencyPOS and Time Keeping system competency; financial responsibilityAbility to read and understand budgets and P&L statementsExperience taking InventoriesAbility to solve problems in a highly effective manner and maintain positive relationships with guests and staff, including management, subordinates and co-workersAbility to be a consistent role model for company's Service Excellence standardsMust have a valid driver's license without limitations or restrictions and meet company's insurability standardsEmployment for this job is contingent upon the successful completion of a background checkEducation Requirements
High School degree or GED required; formal college education in hospitality preferredThe base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and / or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits.
Steamboat area base salary range : $60,000 to $70,000 per year
